My husband and I went to the same destinations this past June but we were on Carnival Cruise Lines. In Key West we did things on our own. We took the free shuttle fom the boat into the center of the town and wondered around. Then we hopped on a trolley and did a tour of all of Key West. We both really enjoyed that! I think it might have been $20.00 pp....don't remember how long it lasted, maybe and hour and half or so. You'll see where to sign up for it once you get into town. In Cozumel we set up something through the cruise line. We took a tour of the island on a bus and then is dropped us off downtown.....it was ok. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are 50 and older. The highlight of that excursion was seeing the almost untouched side of the island and the beach was the most beautiful beach I've ever seen! Some people that were at our dinner table really enjoyed the ATV adventure. The water in Cozumel is amazing....so anything to do with the water would definitely be a safe bet!
Have a great time! Cruises are fantastic!
