You dont need to print them at all, thats why they are called ELECTRONIC tickets and are facilitated as PAPERLESS travel. As long as your friend has his passport (or other form of identification) he will be perfectly fine. He just needs to walk to the check-in counter on the day of departure, the agent will have all the informantion needed in the computer...
