The latter, I think. Not too many people pick something as a best answer simply because it honestly answers the question (you are more likely to get a thumbs down!). A best answer is choosen simply because it agrees with that the asker already thinks.

I think that most "questions" on here are just statements made in order to ridicule people of different beliefs (to make a point).

Both; some people ask questions out of curiousity (wanting to know more about something) and other times just to insult and harrass.

Those aren't enough options. I think the majority of questions are:

1. Preaching
2. Insulting others (as opposed to 3 below)
3. Argumentative
4. Trolls
5. Requests for information

But I wouldn't hazard a guess as to how many *people* have those as their priorities, as some folks seem to ask a LOT of questions.

As for me, I'm here to share information that I have, give my insight or opinion on things, and correct misinformation about my religion.

I'll admit to occasionally doing a little whapping on the noggin, but I think that's rare for me.

To insult and harrass. And that's a pity.

I think that most are hear to stir up trouble. Atheists amuse me, because as much as they hate God, they still want to be around people that believe. Christians tend to get lost in the debate, and lose their love of neighbor. I am a christian, and I say this from personal experience. I used to love debating, but I found myself hating rather than loving the one I was arguing with. Now I have come to a place where I love atheists, and than God they are putting themselves into our paths so that we can pray for them.

not most .. but a lot yes
but that depends also if someones difference of opinion is insulting to you ... or they are just plain insulting
i see many complain of insults from those simply sharing a difference in belief
