Unfortunately, no. But early intervention and treatment can significantly improve the prognosis. I don't know if that is true in cases of severe autism, but it definitely is in higher functioning autism.

My children improved with ABA and the Gluten-free Casein-free diet. It was hard at first, but well worth the effort. A great site is gfcfdiet.com.

Behavioral therapy improves outcomes. There's no solid documented evidence for any other intervention.
