I think that Subway would be just fine. I know that there aren't alot of places you can eat under a hour so I think that she would like it and understand that you couldn't take her somewhere different. Or you could just ask her to dinner.

Well sometimes at luinch applebee's is packed, so either Subway, or Mac Allister's is good. Or if you have a Golden Corral there hey it doesn't take that long going thru the buffet line. IN some places most of the time you spend there is waiting, but at Golden Corral the line never stops moving. ANd they have a large selection of everything there. AND it not that expensive. And save applebees for when you have enough time to wait like after work.

there are some restaurants out there that guarantee your food in 15 mins or less or they pay for it if you wanna risk it that would be nicer subway i guess is nice i still wouldnt want to go there on a lunch date applebees have a time limit on their food they need everything out by 10-16 mins everything is computerized there. so they get the food order in the kitchen right away

Not knowing where you live, it's hard to make suggestions because we don't know the choices available. Getting in and out of a sit-down restaurant at lunch time in 45 mins, will likely be cuttin' it pretty close, unless they have a buffet or you just get the salad bar (don't have to wait for food to be prepared).

Call a place and order you food ahead of time and it's ready when you get there. Go pick up some menus and have them ready when you ask so that she can pick what she wants.

With not much time, you should consider like you said Subway, perhaps when you have more time, you can take her somewhere really nice.

see if you can call and reserve a place and order ahead order 2 different meals and let her choose. A more expensive place is likely to accomodate you
