Since about 4 hours ago I've been having what reminds me of "growing pains" when I was little. My legs feel tired, and there's a pulsing ache that hurts a bit and is driving me crazy. It feels like I just need to stretch out my legs, but that does no good.

I'm 17 years old and I'm 6"4, so it can't be growing pains, could it?

it's actually possible that it is in fact growing pains. i actually grew a couple inches after graduating from high school and my mom grew a little bit after giving birth to me (she was 23 at the time).
if you're worried about or it's really bothering you have it checked out. when i was younger they kept telling the pain i was having in my legs were just growing pains, but i think that was just because they didn't know what was really going on

It can absolutely be growing pains! In fact, I didn't stop getting growing pains until I was 20. Everyone has their own pace of growth so I wouldn't worry about it. If the pain is that bad though, I would recommend you put an ice pack to it and then just sit until the pain alleviates. I'm told that you shoudl also stay away from milk or other dairy products as they may exacerbate the situation. If neccessary, take some aspirin or ibuprofin.

If you're an athlete you probably have access to a kinetic therapy clinic (sports clinic), so you may want to schedule yourself for some time with them. It helps a lot.

I started getting arthritis at 13, after a accident is when it started. Though I am told it is hereditary. I have the rheumatoid blood factor or something rather. They gave me a blood test for it. Of course they did not do this with me for 20 some odd years. I had every arthritis diagnoses known to man....

Maybe you are getting arthritis? It is not just a older persons condition. Go in and get checked out.

Wish you a pain free day!

I get that feeling when I'm really tired. Do you get enough sleep?

I also know that my legs are uneven (which is actually pretty common), and my hip bone is kind of twisted.
