How much did it eat?
I suspect your dog won't have problems going to the toilet :)
May cause diarrohea keep watch and ensure the diarrohea clears up. If dog become lethargic then take to vet.
ring your vet to double check that they think it will be OK.

First, you should buy some deodorizer, gloves, and a scrub brush. Then, some room air freshener. It won't hurt him, but it will hurt your nose. He will be going quite frequently, for about a day or two. Be prepared. And don't make it a habit of the dog taking ex lax. It could eventually hurt him inside, just as it can us.
