We Indian are clearly aware when it comes to the oldest language in India it is either Tamil or Sanskrit .

But which is the oldest ?

Ofcourse some website do have it"s say for Sanskrit but it dosent really make sense when compared to a language like Tamil which is dating back more than 5000 BC .

Lets not bother about Google or Yahoo , lets come to facts ,
According to facts and research, is the Hindian goverment bias over Sanskrit just because it is mother of Hindi ?

This always triggers my mind, because Tamil is dating back to the time of Kumari Kandam also known as Lemuria, a lost land swallowed by the sea and lost forever,
an explorations carried out by Graham Hancock and his team, who working in association with Dr Glen Milne, a specialist in glacio-isotacy and glaciation induced sea-level change, were able to show that areas at 23 metres depth would have submerged about 11,000 years before the present time or 9,000 BC.

Tamil is dating back more than 5-7000 BC

Sanskrit is nowhere near Tamil, the brith of sanskrit is due to the influence of Tamil, no doubt sanskrit could have influence many Indian languages including Tamil in the modern times, but it"s in "modern" period, well it is influence, but as far as age is concern Tamil is very much older .

As mentioned Tamil language is dating back more then 7000 BC
Even if i subtract half of of that age,
sanskrit is no comparison to Tamil

How the hell can an intruders aryans language be comapred to a classical ancient language like Tamil, as for the above mentioned by someone tat Tamil derived from sanskrit, this is the biggest joke i can think off,

Sanskrit is mainly a language of some nomads which is created during 1500bc when the Aryans came for shelter in the Indian soil,
Aryans arn"t the natural inhabitants of India in the first place,
then how can their language Sanskrit be an Indian language,
it is a permenent resident in the Indian soil,

I don think that there is anything wrong with the questions asked,

It is indeed true Indian goverment infact the Hindian goverment trying to put a barrier on the view and having an open recongnition to Tamil, if Sanskrit a language which came way after Tamil can be always put to recongnition , why is there a lack of acceptace on the quality of Tamil language in "Hindia"
It is definitly due to Hindi , to protect its identity, in a way it"s mother language Sanskrit will be protected.

Tamil to be certainly the oldest language
and mother of all Indian languages
and also the oldest living language in the world,
as you said, Tamil dating back 9000 bc, is not a joke, i dont think any other language is of rich as Tamil,
Sumerian can give a close fight, but if anyone does research on Sumerian, it is too mentioned as Archaic Tamil , but still Sumerian is dating back 5000BC but Tamil is dating back more than 7000 BC '
so whether Sumerian is Archaic Tamil or not is not the concern here , the concern is how old Tamil is and the fact that sanskrit is way much younger than Tamil,

Tamil certainly is much older than Sanskrit .
No question abt it

Sanskrit is jus the mother of Indo Aryan language and a language which influence the other Indian languages as well in later period, but then sanskrit compared to the ancient quality of Tamil, nothing to be of compared of, infact comparing Tamil with Sanskrit is like ,comparing Truth with Fabrication

TAMIL because all the names of african country name has tamil meaning. Koreans has 1000 same sounding words as tamil. Its quiet unbelievable. If people see it without bias just doing analysis of words used in various oldest language in africa you will see all of them distorted tamil. Instead of tamil people researching this , if some people really interested research it will be good. Tamil is oldest of all language. there is not even for any argument. Only ignorant people say aramaic , latin and sanskirit

Allow me to reproduce my answer given 5 minutes back to another question---
The Tamilians of India believe that when Lord Shiva vibrated his Damroo, from one end emerged the Sanskrit Paanineeya Sutras, and from the other, Tamil verses were heard.God only knows what is the truth in this issue.
Each linguistic group tries to snatch credit for its forefathers, & Tamils are known for their excessive pride for their language. But they do not stop there. They must also express hatred for sanskrit, North Indians, Hindi, & Brahmins. The DMK party grabbed power only on this foundation of hatred . God save them in modern India if the Northerners choose to reciprocate this hostility .
Most of the educated Indians believe sanskrit to be not only the oldest, but also the richest language , far superior to Tamil.
I'm sure similar fables about their own dialect , would be prevelent among the most backward , cannibalistic tribes of dense equariorial forests also.We cant help.
