I read this too, and actually, not a lot of what this guy says seems to actually be true.

Quote one

On the Abra card we read "Using its ability to read minds, it will identify impending danger and teleport to safety." Then there are the occult symbols on Kadabra. He has a pentagram on his forehead, SSS on his chest and he is giving the Satanic salute with his left hand. All of the above have strong occult significance.

Ok, I immediately took out my pokemon card collection upon seeing this, and let me tell you, there is not SSS on his chest. WRONG!!!! Those are straight lines (at least on the card).
Next up, pentagram. What is so wrong with a star?
Lastly, Satanic salute. STOP MAKING FUN OF KADABRA FOR ONLY HAVING THREE FINGERS.

Second Quote

Some of the readers will no doubt protest, "it's only a game!" To be sure it is a game, but a game that does not glorify God!

Well, then what does glorify God? Do dollar bills? Some say that the one eyed pyramid and the so called "phoenix" are occult. So should I should I throw all my money away?

Quote 3

Could Pokémon influence the children who play it? I pray that it does not happen, but I wonder how long it will be before a grade school child, tries to do what is written on the Weepingbell - Razor Leaf Pokémon card. It says, "It spits out poisonpowder to immobilize the enemy, and then finishes the enemy with a spray of acid."

Oh noooo!!!! Lets see.... How will kids try to spit out poisonpowder or spray acid at the kid next to them? "Hey Joe! Can I spray you with my acid?" Come on.

Quote 4

Let's look at another character, Ash's companion Misty. She is described as "headstrong and stubborn…constantly quibbling with Ash…and seems to harbor deeper feelings for Ash." Then there is the third member of the trio, Brock who is "by far the most hormonal. Brock's fascination with the opposite sex many times gets him or the group into trouble, although he's yet to have anything resembling a score." Let's take a look at Pokémon trainer Gary. He is "a real jerk…self-centered, vindictive and obnoxious. Then there are Jessie & James. Here is how they are described -- "Prepare for trouble, make it double.... Jessie, James…are a mysterious and evil gang looking to steal rare Pokémon. Jessie and James are stuck up, fashion conscious, and prone to cross-dressing."

Headstrong, stubborn, quibbling, self-centered, vindictive, obnoxious, hormonal, sexually preoccupied, evil, thieving, cross-dressing jerks are most definitely not biblical role models! These characters do not portray biblical values. Pokémon does not measure up!

Jesse and James- Prone to crossdressing. WHAT?!? Hello? Not even close.
Gary- Self vindictive, obnoxious, a jerk. And so what? Name one succesful T.V. show where there hasn't been a character without personal flaws.
Misty- quibbles and argues with ash. Oh my gosh!!! They actually disagree with one another once in a while!
Brock- For once and only once, he was right. Yes, brock creeps me out when I watch him introduce himself to girls. But obssessed with the opposite sex? Hormonal? Not words associated with Brock.

Quote 5

Pokémon is designed to be a stepping stone to harder occult oriented games like Magic:The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons.

Not even close buddy. Pokemon was designed to appeal to younger audiences and the family who thought that rpging was evil just like you.

And what does this conclude to?

The final quote.

Mental health professionals are finally coming to understand what the Bible has said all along -- the things you let into you mind shape your thinking and your thinking directs your actions. This truth was acted out at the Columbine High school slaughter. The shooters had saturated their minds with violent video games, Gothic death music, and violent reading material. The result was on April 20, 1999, twelve students and one teacher were murdered.

Don't even dare to bring up Columbine! What happened in the brains of two flipped out little nutcases has nothing to do with pokemon! How dare this so called PHD use and exploit the deaths of thirteen human beings to his case that pokemon is evil? (then again, he probably thinks columbine was occult cause it had the number 13) And has there even been any mention of death in pokemon? What? I didn't hear you, Mister Pastor David L. Brown! In fact, Pokemon has been careful NOT TO MENTION DEATH whatsoever! Notice how enemies "faint" in battle. Name one instance where they have mentioned the words "murder" "death" or "die"!
Found it yet? I didn't think so, Jerkwad.

Here's why most christians don't like Pokemon. For a while, the pokemon trading cards got called "Pocket Demons" instead of "Pocket Monsters." I have yet to look into the whole supposedly being based on Asian spirits; I know that the pokemon creator was just sitting around one day and thought up some stories about sa land with lots of quirky creatures. The whole battle-side of things can look offensive, but if the Pokemon do it for fun and it brings them closer to eachother and their trainers?!

That page made me laugh so much!!! "Won't our kids try to poison and paralyze their enemies by imitating this card?" Oh my flippin god, they are seriously cuckoo. Pokemon are evil just cause they are made by Wizard (and what is so evil about Magic the gathering? It be just a game). What if Mattel started producing guns? Would that make Barbies and Pocket Polly's evil? You can say that the history of the dollar bill is evil, because it got turned into a show that aired on the history channel, and right after that there was a show on the history of marijuana. Pokemon is evil? Come on. Whoever wrote that should go get a life. Maybe since they're so religious and christian, they should go to more church instead of wasting their time writing slanderous articles like this. This is yet another example of over exaggeration and looking too deep into children toys and programs. I'm surprised he hasn't wrote an article about how barbies are evil since you can change their clothes and you might see them naked. At least that would actually make sense.

Bubba preachers teach that everything they don't "believe in" is a sin.
They serve two purposes with that attitude.

1. If you don't attend Church regularly, you will not know what is a "sin".
2. You will have plenty of money to give these Bubba Preachers if you don't spend any on your money on what they call "sins".

You have certainly grasped the pulse and insidious nature of Christianity.
The depth of your insight is astounding as you uncover the truth that people who think Pokemon is evil are utilizing this tactic to gain control of the universe.
