If you were given a free ticket to Africa Where would you go and Why?

Mali - a Friend from my University days ended up there and married. Visiting here thus 1) Catches up on old times 2) gives the best insight into local culture and contacts she has and all the scouting reports she can offer (such as the trip to Timbuktu) 3) Is a great home base to explore from.

It also neighbors areas that I have sent aide to Children. I could check to see if the area was safe and visit to see how the money is spent.
