You can add them only if you are married with the person or if you can claim the person as your dependent.

It is best if you bring his/her IDs (including social security card) any income statements (W2, 1099 etc) to the H&R Block office where you received your loan and have the tax pro help you determine whether you can add the person to your tax return.

Best wishes.

The loan from H & R block is not related to the IRS in any way. It is just a loan based on you ESTIMATED refund. Your return should be filed exactly as it would have been filed if the loan did not exist. If you arranged for H & R Block to file your return once your W-2 and other documents are available, you should contact them to correct your return before then.

NOTE: Even if your return is filed electronically, they are required to obtain your W-2, etc before transmiting your return to the IRS.
