My son lost his Arizona driver's license. We are in Georgia and if you don't have the driver's license the want instead a letter of clearance. Does anybody knows how to obtain that from out of state?

I just went through that about 6.5 years ago even though I never actually had an AZ license. Call the DMV state office and they will tell you what to do. Depending on how long ago it was, they will require to send in a money or for the fines and for the $60 reinstatement fee, but they may send the money back with a letter of reinstatement. They did that same thing to me. Wanted me to send in the $60 and then sent it back to me uncashed.

Contact the DMV (DPS, whatever) in AZ. They're the only ones who can help you.
