wants it or do I wait till it's convenient for me?
My girlfriend (2 yrs) just kicked me out after two years,...?
She said she wanted to start over and take things slow. I set a date for her for Saturday but she said since I was in the neighborhood looking at places to live tonight, she wouldn't mind if I stopped by and play with the dogs while she is at dinner with her girlfriend, and she would see me when she gets back.
Should I even make my self available to do this, or would she want me more if I couldn't make it tonight and made her wait till Saturday? Do you give them what they want when they want it or do you need to take control of the situation?

Wasting any time with her is taking away from the time you could be using to find someone else who actually wants to be with you. Cut the cord and move on. You're not her dog babysitter, are you?

Don't do it!
If you're sitting there playing with the dogs when she gets back, she'll know she *owns* your ***. You think it was rough before? That's nothing compared to what's gonna happen if you put yourself in the position of sitting @ home waiting while she's out w/ a friend. Wait till Saturday, and take it slow. I'm not saying you won't be back in there in a month or so, but make sure you do it under the right terms.

You dont give any indication of why she kicked you out after two years. That is important. Anyways, if I were you, I would tell her you are busy tonight and stay on course for Saturday only. Try not to play the chasing/winning her back game if possible because then the ball is completely in her court.

Dude she's being nice and basically saying that it's over. If she was considering it, she'd have stayed to talk to you rather than going out with a girlfriend. Sounds like she just wants to be friends. Honestly, not to sound mean, but get over her, and move on. I've been in that situation before. It may be hard, but it's something you're gonna have to do. This is what you can do to tell. Do something nice for her, or make a dinner date, and discuss it. Or get her drunk, cuz that's when the truth comes out. Provided you are of age. If she doesnt' respond positively to the dinner thing, yeah, you're pretty much out the door.

Ex's are ex's for a reason.
What you need to do is try to hang out with your friends, dont be available every time she wants you to be. Make her chase you. Women like a challenge, its to easy to get bored with a man that gives in and does every thing a woman wants.
Even start not answering your phone everytime she calls wait and let her call you twice before you return her calls or answer the phone.
You will know in a matter of weeks if she is truly interested in you or not.

What? so now she wants u to dog-sit? Dont do it.. that is her responsibility. If she wants u back she needs to be nice to u and not expect things. its her bad for kicking u out (I mean I obviously dont know what u did to deserve that, but she made the call to kick u out). If she wants to get back with u she will make that call. In the meantime, dont do her dirty work for her while she goes out with friends. Tell her you are busy and will see her saturday as planned.

Ok, if she has stated that she is not sure whether she wants to be with you or not than you give her what she has stated she wants. Meaning leave her be. Be unavailable for a time. Don't be rude or ugly but don't be at her beck and call. Obviously she needs some time to figure it out and she cannot do that with you there. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

I would not make myself available to her at all-I would always be busy. If she kicked me out, I would be moving on down the road. She is in the "don't want him, but don't want anyone else to have him" mode. Since she is indecisive about a future with you, I would give her lots of space and lots of time. Go out without her and have a great time-there are plenty of fish in the sea. Let her wonder what you are doing. If you cater to her now, you will be catering to her the rest of her life. Show her you aren't a doormat.

Why are you playing games with this girl? If she doesnt want to be with you after 2 yrs then you should try to move on! Sounds to me like she wants to be single but knows she can have you waiting around if that plan falls thru!

wait til saturday because she may be testing how strong and independant you are like you forgot the time and had other things to do but you will see her sat and you hope she enjoys her dinner something like that dont be a lap dog
