why do so many girls including my girlfriend give me the simple three word response i don't know... and please dont be a smart *** and answer this by saying... I don't know... im guessing just about every one is going to say that. its just startin to piss me off... (slips clip into 9mm) i can't take it any more. why? I don't know...

I think that she honestly doesn't know. Are you talking about feelings or what? Sometimes it's hard to use words to explain how one is feeling about something. Or it could be that she is indecisive. Don't push her, that just makes it even harder for her to explain it to you.

Well most females when asked a question will say "I don't know" to either avoid a question you have asked, or you have asked them what they want to do and they don't want to pick so they say "I don't know", or they are pissed and they don't want to talk to you so they say "I don't know". It basically is an easy way to avoid confrontation or conversation.

You are asking the dumbest questions, layered with an unbearable ammount of stupid details. She says, "Idont know", In her mind she is telling herself once again, "i cant believe this boring dude always waistes my time.

there's a couple of reasons.
a.) they might not really know.. depending on the question.
b.) they might not have a preference.. (i/e "what do you want for dinner?" "i don't know") could be b/c they really don't care either way.
c.) they might not know b/c they are confused and it's easier to say "i don't know" and sum it up like that instead of "i'm really confused"
d.) or they know but don't feel like being honest..

oh it's because sometimes a girl will get annoyed by a weird or stupid question been asked by a boy. i would ussually answer my boyfriend "i don't know" if he ask me some perverted questions.

for me I say I don't know when I'm trying to get out of a question I don't want to answer....OR I genuinely am stumped and I just don't know.
