Depending on how much you want to spend (can several of you at work chip in?) a charm bracelet or similar piece of jewelry is nice...and not just because women love jewelry. But, it's something they can add to with every major event of that child's life or add to with the birth of each grandchild...so it's always growing with them.

A beautiful picture frame to put the babys picture in, maybe even have the babys name engraved on it!

There are these lovely CD's of soft lullabies, she can enjoy with the baby.. also I have seen CD's of classical music for infants.. imagine that.. She can enjoy the CD's when babysitting and wanting some lovely, soft music on the Stereo for baby and her....the future plus, Baby learns to appreciate good music as as he/she is enjoying Grandma
