It does matter.. I got involved with a guy that had a drink problem. I didnt realise at first but it'll becoe obvious soon enough. Guess it depends on how you are when you have had a skin full and how tolerent she is. I got p=!sed off with it in the end and left because I ended up either getting a torrent of abuse, getting abandoned half way through the night or being his nanny. Its no crack. Sorry sweetie.. sort it out.

Personally, I wouldn't. it's a lot to take on.
What if you spend your time trying only to fail?
What if you end up developping a drinking problem yourself?
I think if you were lucky enough to have someone do that for you, you could be sure they love you, and hopefully that would be enough to get you to try as hard as you can.
Now, how can you pretend that everything else is going good?
Are do you even know?
You are not free to enjoy it because alcohool controls your life.
Only when you areable to walk away from alcohool, will you be able to enjoy your freedom, and truthfully meant it when you say that something you can't have doesn't matter to you.
Don't give up. Keep trying.xx

no i wouldnt.
hun maybe you need to get help wiv your drink before even thinking about getting into a relationship purely for the fact that its not going to be good for you or the girl. everything else wont be good because eventually your drink problem will constantly get in the way of any relationship being good. Get some help and then find love. Good luck.

You must be p****d now to twitter about the next girl u meet - Bet everything else is only going good when youve had a drink. Sort it out - go to quacks and get on a rehabilitation programme and then think about meeting a girl.

Well yes it does because before long the drinking turns from a minor prob to a very large one.I went out with my bf for 6 years and he drank like a fish,i fell pregnant and he promised he`d change. He left me and our son on sunday for the 2nd time in 6 months because he couldn`t give up his drinking and drugs with his mates. He would disappear for days on end binging and i`d be left at home miserable with our son alone,so now i`ll be home alone with my son but i wont be as miserable cos i know he`s not coming home to upset the place and cause rows,so yes it does matter and causes alot of heartache and tears.

You really need to get help ASAP cause you are very young and it will get worse and sorry only it would be unfair of you to expect any young girl to take you on this is your problem so don't inflict it upon someone else please get some help as far as everything else being good it is for now until you become a prisoner of the bottle

Your habit isn't exactly going to become less of a problem is it?
You are 20 and you are writing the rest of your life off.
Watch trainspotting! stupid!
You have a life of being abusive, drinking cider out of a paper bag in the park while wearing odd shoes!!!
Give your self a break and pack it in while its easy and you are young!!!
The only relationship you have is with a bottle and that's how it'll stay unless you change!

wake up call. if you are only 20 and know you have a drink problem forget about the girls and sort out the problem first. men who drink are very insecure when it comes to women and this often causes abuse. it may not be a major problem to you now but it will later so deal with it

It might not matter if your looking for a bit of fun but if you want a serious relationship forget it. How can you have a problem at 20? It may be ok at first but when she falls in love with you it will be a major issue.
