its not a problem. i have 5 desktops 1 laptop about my house and outdoors four of them are used daily but just notice after an update of avg there is .new added windows hot fixes but these ones listed have avg icon instead

I'm running Win XP Pro (SP2) with AVG 7.5 with all the updates and I don't see any of these hot fixes showing in my programs update list. Double checked Windows Update and AVG update and nothing new to install either.

I'm with mad dog on this one...I dumped avg a long time ago. I'm not surprised if Windows is hotfixing avg as you claim; one bloated and meddlesome software deserves another.

personally avg is not as goodas avast. i prefer avast its still free but avg wont be soon
