Certainly. I got it bad in my knees. Some children develop scoliosis, which is a curvature of the spine and this can only develop when someone is still growing. There are bound to be pains, since you are growing. It's much like someone with braces. When they get them tightened and their teeth move, it can become sore.

Yes. I was in constant pain most of my childhood. If the doctor can find a reason and help your child, that would be great. Sometimes they can't find a specific reason, but that doesn't mean your child isn't hurting. You might look into seeing a physical therapist. We found one when I was in my teens who helped me a lot.

YES!!!!! i have 3 sons. each one has had growing pains. its usually in the joints and its very real. it always hurt most at bedtime when they stopped moving long enough to feel it .a little motrin helps to relax the muscles so they can rest.

My daughter has them all the time in her legs and is usually followed by a growth spurt. So I`m told it`s normal.

yes, it can be very painfull to the extent to where it will disturb their sleep. I have one now that is going through it, and some nights he just wakes up screaming. Tylenol seems to work, and it's not every night...but yes especially when they are going through a growth spurt.

I got them really bad when I was a kid. i remember my nephewing getting them when he was little to. I know some doctors will tell you no, but trust me, if he says hes hurting, im sure he is.

TRY A WARM BATH OR HEATING PAD ON LOW AND CHILDREN TYLENOL TO HELP WITH THE PAIN.
