I've actually never eaten a philly cheese steak, but from what I've heard about them it sounds like it would be good with BBQ sauce.

I personally hate ketchup, but I am surprised more people don't do it. I would think it would give it a kind of BBQ flavor.

the only condiment that EVER belongs on a philly cheesesteak is mayo, and the reall stuff not that sweet miricle whip CRAP. please never put any thing else one a philly cheesesteak, ever again. for the love of god why would you ruin a awsome sandwich with that crap?
