as you get older the way your body metabolizes alcohol changes. As 20 somethings we were able to maintain a high metabolism while consuming alcohol. When our metabolism slows down we can not burn alcohol off the way wew once did. So the effect of alcool makes us sleepy rather than relaxed. In my 20's a six pack or two was a typical night for me...now that I am in my 40's two beers in a night is pushing my upper limits. Instead, I am the one chugging coffee and mountain dew all night and being the designated driver.

Drink something with red bull in it... like Vodka.. its an energy drink and keeps you awake for a while.. till time passes anyway

Beer really does that to you the older you get...If you drink red bull and vodka before you will be WIDE AWAKE try it...it works!!!

Don't mix uppers and downers(redbull and vodka) bad for the ticker. Just don't eat so much before you go out!!!!
