There are 2 non-stop trains per hour from Kings Cross Station for most of the day. They take less than 50 minutes. There are also trains from Liverpool Street, but they are a lot slower.
Otherwise, National Express coaches from Victoria coach station.
There is no bus service as such, only express coaches. You do realise it is about 60 miles don't you?

take the train from London cross (faster than liverpool usually), there is only one platform in cambridge, but u have to see the platforms in London cross (read the chart). when you reach cambridge, the university is all over the place, so you have to be more specific in where do you want to go (which college or which department) in order for ppl to give you more details. there are buses that takes you to the city centre where almost all the big colleges are.. try to take citi1, citi2 or citi7, and tell them where u wanna go and they can guide you off at the nearest station from there, or to the right bus if you are not going central.

It's very easy. Catch a train from Liverpool Station in London, straight through to Cambridge. You can take a very small taxi ride to the university, if you want to.

Get the train from King's Cross, then when you get to Cambridge ask the driver of the first bus you see if he is going to the city centre, if he isn't then ask the next one.

Honestly it couldn't be easier. If you can't work it out you shouldn't be allowed into the city.

Follow the geeks.

Or look at national express

http://www.nationalexpress.com/

Road names, sides etc irrelevant in this case, because the buses will only leave from terminals and will have the destinations written on the front of them
