It should be dominated by religion, that is why atheists (who have their own religion of the almighty 'matter') can't stay away from this site.. . . . . . .

The atheists credo.

We believe in one Matter,
The almighty, the omnipotent
Maker of the whole universe
Of all that is seen and unseen
We believe in one Cosmic Egg
The only Son of Matter
Eternally begotten of Matter
Matter from Matter, Energy from Energy,
True Matter from True Matter
Begotten not made,
Of one being with Matter
Through the Egg all things were made
For us men and for our evolution
It formed itself in the heavens
By the power of the Energy it became incarnate into virgin space, and was made Egg
For our sake, it exploded in a singularity,
expanded, and expanded and became everything
In accordance with the ‘Big Bang’ story
It spread across the heavens and evolved into galaxies
It will continue in glory
Until the ultimate heat death

We believe in the Energy, the giver of life, which proceeds from the Matter and the Egg
With the Matter and the Egg it is worshipped and glorified
It has been revealed by the atheists
We believe in one, secular humanist and Darwinian faith
We acknowledge one, atheistic viewpoint for the education of all.
We look for the oblivion of the dead
And the destruction of the world to come.
Amen

No, most of us are not atheists, there are many different world beliefs represented here, including pagan and Wicca and Jewish and Islamic and I am sure many, many different Christian beliefs, some Buddhist and Hindi and Agnostics. But these are all beliefs...in SOMETHING. Oh, and the trolls, no one is sure about them one way or the other.

Some of the stuff the atheists come up with is outlandish and some of the stuff the rest of us say is ridiculous. Somebody has made the so intelligent deduction that Scientist are atheist and already have disproved God (they have not, and are not and that is not even their job as scientists).

You have to hunt for a serious question to answer and hope no one has copied and pasted the entire Bible or Quran in here. Yet all of us keep coming back and looking...for something...I am not sure we know what.

Well - it would be nice to see more spirituality in this section... it does tend to be dominated by raving freaks promoting their particular religious beliefs...

Would be better if people were actually open to discussion rather than simply stating they're right... and you're wrong.

Ah well, American's have gotten steadily less intelligent over the years... poor educations - no teaching of logical basics...

Cie la vie.

It's odd. I am always hoping to find more on Spirituality on here. There aren't many good outlets on the web to discuss spirituality.....so it's sort of disappointing that we have this big old "question room", and so few unique questions. I mostly feel like I am sitting through a sermon at church in here.

Athiest's don't believe in god.
Agnostics do not believe in practising religion.

I think you need to specify which you mean.

I am an agnostic. But I do believe that there are spirits (For want of a better word) and higher levels of consciousness

I'd say it's pretty evenly matched. Just when I post an atheist comment, I get just as many thumbs down as I do thumbs up so there must be lots of Christians too. lol

And to Dakota, I do "except" Jesus in my life. I do everything except ACCEPT him. lol

Like Dakota said above: Jesus rocks. and He is the way and the truth and the life. even though, we Christians are not supposed to judge other people, Dakota is right. Jesus is the only way to the kingdom of heaven and if you don't accept Him as your Saviour you are going to Hell even though God is love, He's also very just.

- what else would it be called if it's for religious topic discussions? you should try reading more closely to the answers and then maybe you would understand what I said above, most people here are not atheists.
