Many things...for starters, they are all found in a baseball stadium, dogs=hot dogs, diamonds=baseball diamonds, and obviously double plays...also, all are best friends of something...dogs=man's, diamonds=woman's, double plays=pitchers...also they all start with D's, end in S's and have an O.

Hm diamonds and double play are baseball terms but how to tie in dogs?? quit dogging it is a baseball term but does not quite fit. i'm stumped -- OK I missed the dogs with mustard--saw the previous answer
