"ethics are never timid, rarely convenient, and always vital"

What does this mean exactly? How does it effect you personally, and the way you live your life?

"ethics are never timid" - with ethics it is always right or wrong there is no gray

"rarely Convenient" - it is harder to be ethical then unethical

"and always vital" - if you want someone to be able to trust you as a person how ethics you are will determine that.

How doe s it effect MY life, I try to be ethics in what I do so as not to cause undo stress on anyone

This is of course open to interpretation, but my take is:

Ethics (assuming you have a good understanding of what ethics are in the first place) are...

"Never timid..": meaning that ethics are bold, full of conviction and bravery (and that ethical people have those same traits).

"...rarely convenient...": meaning that choosing the ethical thing usually means undertaking the harder route; that choosing the unethical thing may be fast and easy and the ethical thing may make your task longer and more difficult.

..."always vital...": meaning that it is always necessary to take the ethical route and that there are no exceptions.

To me it it simple: one must always strive to follow the ethical route over the easy route.

I'm a vegan, so ethics definitely impact me.

They aren't convenient because veganism in today's world with how many people discriminate...

...and they are vital because it's something that I need to do.
