I get where you are coming from, but honestly. I don't think that Christ would tell all the atheist to leave his church. Have confidence in your faith. If you are right with God, then nothing anyone says will hurt you. Stay strong, wear your belief proud. How are you going to minister to those in need if you drive them all away. Why are they here, that is a good question. If they honestly don't believe in God, then why do they waste their time? Do you think that they possibly want to learn, or that maybe they are being draw here so that an understanding and loving Christian will say the one thing they need to hear to find God?
When speaking on Christianity, and this I think goes to all Christians, remember that you are speaking for God. Don't make him look bad and don't say something that he woulnd't say because you feel threatened or mad.

Unitedwst......Wether you like it or not , we all have a free will to make our own choices given to all by our Creator. He only wants our love given to Him by choice. Believe it or not , atheists are better off than most " christians ". Myself, am a Jesus freak . And I know that I can't find a church on the planet teaching the truth that Jesus would teach if He were here. Because the same teaching by so called christians has been going on 2007 years and things are no better.
It is time to quit preaching the whole bible and teach only that which Jesus taught . Jesus never taught anybody that our Father would bless His children to kill and make war as is the misconception in christianity. Anything that is wicked or bad does not come from the Creator that I have come to know. It is the teaching of Jesus and what is in my heart that guides me to have love and compassion for my brothers and sisters. Anyone who claims ties with any religion or belief should understand what religions are founded on and what they have been designed for.
The best teaching on this subject that I have found is by Alan Watt
http://www.cuttingthroughthematrix.com/
Religions are designed to divide and conquer. We are losing the battle and the war for peace and understanding. As long as we are divided by religions and other barriers there is no chance for the futures of our children and thier children.

A couple of points, if I may:
Who appointed you the guardian at the gate?
Would it be all right with you, now that you've been appointed, if agnostics were allowed in.
Does "spirituality" necessarily mean "God, angels, Christians," or can it be more broadly interpreted? For example, Buddhists do not believe in a deity, and yet are quite spiritual. Would a Buddhist be able to answer questions or post questions in this forum?
Your answers will be anticipated with great eagerness.

Spirituality is MORE THAN just christianity. Also, since you lot seem hell bent and determined to force various parts of your faith onto all of us, we ALL have a vested interest in what goes on.
If you don't want your beliefs challenged or your faith tested, don't come here. It is that simple. But, remember John Stuart Mill who wrote to the effect that only beliefs worth defending well are worthy of your time.

Well it's not your Yahoo site so don't tell people to leave just because they are exploring ideas from different people--It's like telling straight people to stay out of the Lesbian/Gay / Bisexual and transgendered section...Leave em alone they are curious to know why you believe in a Religion or something else--I'm not atheist but I am Agnostic-but the more I see what religion does to people's mind and hearts, I start scooting more and more toward Atheism

And how does my atheism get in the way of having spiritual experiences, precisely? Last time I checked, I'm quite open about the fact I've had a near-death experience and regularly have out-of-body experiences.
Hardly 'non-spiritual'.
I've also admitted to being a ritualist, and that in my rituals I honor Fenrir Wolf from Norse mythology and Sekhmet from Egyptian mythology -- even though I don't believe in their literal existence. I have gone so far as to state that I consider myself a scion of Fenris, and a bastard of Sekhmet.
Hardly 'non-spiritual'.
Take your biggotry elsewhere.

What about me? I'm an Ásatrúar. You gonna ban me too simply because I don't worship your god but worship others?
This is NOT a Christian only section, you Christians are not the only religion out there and Atheists have every right to post here.

I don't think you can tell people to not answer certain questions. If we could do that then we'd have gotten the idiots out of the pets section a long time ago.

Been wondering that myself. I actually think some of them have a
hidden belief somewhere in them and that is why they are here, besides bashing all the religious here. They are searching for the answer, but unfortunately without faith at some level, they will always remain an atheist.
Very Sad!
