How can I found out if my computer will burn dvd's? Is there something that will tell me. I am an Avon Rep and I want to copy a dvd and it's saying there is no dvd recorders detected on my system but I could've sworn their was. Is a CD burner not the same because I know I have that. And I have a place on my computer to play dvds... is their another way to copy a dvd??? I'm confused. Thank you.

I am afraid you cant burn to a DVD, but try copying the files from the DVD to your computer and then copying them onto a CD, you may use more than one CD to do this, 1 DVD is roughly the size of 5Cd's this will work well with data but if its a training video type of thing then it wont work. Ask a friend with a DVD burner to make a copy for you

NO a cd burner is not the same and i doubt it has a dvd burner if you didn't make sure you bought one.
