Not sure how leaving your hair to air dry could be bad, but if you don't have the time for it, I suggest toweling it as dry as possible before using a good quality, tourmeline ceramic-style hairdryer. And it doesn't have to be an expensive one , Costco sells one from Conair for $20. Keep the dryer moving and at least one inch away from your head and don't go for bone-dry. Using a pre-drying styling aid such as Infusium 23 will also help avoid damage.

Unless you are needing to style your hair a specific way then air drying your hair is always better--you can use the dryer is you just use a low or no heat setting so it doesn't strip the natural oils from your hair--

The best thing is to towel your hair dry as best you can and then let it air dry. The hair dryer tends to dry out hair and makes it more brittle, though its best to use if your going to be out in the cold right away and your hair doesn't have enough time to dry to keep from getting sick and being overly cold.

When you let your hair airdry it is actually healthier. because when you use a hair dryer you are applying heat to ur hair witch could damage it. But since you are not directly applying heat it shouldnt damage it that much. Well i hope this helps you!! Bye!

Letting your hair dry naturally is good. As for the dryer, it can be bad. If you want to blowdry your hair, make sure you use products that are meant for heatstyling so that it can protect your hair.

I always let my hair air dry due to using a flat iron every day. It is better for your hair because you are not damaging it through the heat or drying it out. I only occassionally blow dry my hair anymore and that is in a case that I need my hair to dry fast....

Its heather for your hair to air dry then to use a blow dryer. The heat from the dryer will ruin your hair.

I'll usually let my hair air dry until it is about 90% dry, then I will bloy dry the rest so it is not as poofy (my hair is wavy/curly). The if I am going out, I'll fla iron it to make it straight. I CONDITION my hair a lot to keep it from being damaged.

Air dry is better for your hair. Blowdryers actually dry out and damage your hair. If you use cool air to blow dry its better on your hair but takes longer. And remember if you have curly hair and let it air dry it will get frizzy. If you have straight hair you have no problem. I have straight hair and I let it air dry as long as possilbe then blow dry just a little to complete the dryness cause I dont want to damage my hair.
