You'll definately need help and rehab. If you're serious, you can't just quit all at once. If you were taking a lot of drugs and tried to quit cold turkey, it could stop your heart.

Start by cutting down on whatever you're doing. The detox will be hard and you might not think you'll make it sometimes, but just think about the outcome and those in your life that care about you. Hopefully that will be enough to pull you through.

for my brother he went into a residential rehab, when he came out he said the best ways for him to stay sober where a minute at a time, AA meetings (he said even though he was a drug addict NA was too full of war stories and not enough support in his area), and dissolving negative friendships. The hardest part was giving up all his friends, but they where at the very least casual users and he couldn't be around anyone that used period. Good luck and don't give up!!! He was an addict for over 20yrs before he became sober and he is still doing good.

Lots of clapping and cheering, good on you..............you need to be really focused and determined.........don't let anything or anyone sway you................don't replace the drugs with another addiction..............become passionate about something else, something healthy, that you really enjoy..............surfing, rollerskating skate board riding, horseriding, football, soccer, cricket......................don't want to be energetic??? become passionate about your nutrition and state of health...........do heaps of research to find out what vitamins and minerals your body actually needs every single to work properly..................I did it too man soooooooooooooooo I know that if you have an addictive personality you just need to find it something really good and healthy for you to become addicted to!!!!.................:)

By getting help. You can't do it alone. Get yourself admitted to detox and rehab, then continue with Narcotics Anonymous:
