A man lies dead on a beach. All he has is his clothes. The only thing on the beach with him is a rock. How did he die?

As in he is dressed or as in he has his clothes in a pile?
That is a tricky one... I can't think of any answer which places any significance on the fact he is clothed, the fact it is on a beach, and the presence of a rock.
I'm sure I'll kick myself later.

Depends on how big the rock is, if it was a night and the rock was huge he could have ran into it causing a head injury and fell, there he lay and no one else was around.

Were his feet stuck in the cement, as in, he killed himself by sticking his feet in the cement and waited til it was dry or was killed by someone else who did the same? And he's on the beach now because the tide has gone? Oh I dunno! It's too late to be using my brain! :)
