"I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what i have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. If you love me, you will obey what I command". John 14: 12-15

The same way Jesus brought glory to the Father, we all should bring glory to the Father since we are all his sons and daughters. If you have faith and obey his commands whatever you ask for shall be given to you and because of everything He has done for you (just because He loves you), you should be grateful and thankful and make yourself a living sacrifice for Him where even your daily tasks are done to glorify His name.

Something else that's very important is that Jesus taught us that the only way to the Kingdom of Heaven is through Him, so therefore we have to accept Him as our Saviour since He died on the cross for our sins and to save us when we were still sinners. Now all we have to do is accept Him as our Saviour and repent of our sins and live a life walking side by side with Him following His commands.

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

The most important thing that Jesus taught is the first thing He said:

"The Kingdom of God is at hand"

What is the "Kingdom of God"? It is a place and time in which God is present with His people. It is present any time that we love God, love others, and love ourselves.

The Kingdom of God is not something that we hope to go to when we die. It is something that we can bring about HERE and NOW.

OK...

Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

Christ is the tree of life.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

God's Word is not a religion but a reality.

Regardless of the points the most important teaching is to turn from sin.

What do I think??? The Golden Rule - do unto others as you would have them do unto you - would give us a peaceful and kind world in which to live. I think that may be the most important lesson.

Not everyone is going to be in heaven. Only the ones who loved Him enough to do what he said will be there.

love, plain and simple, love.

love God
love your family
love your neighbor
love yourself

if we love as Jesus showed us throughout His lifetime - then you are all set. when you love you don't hurt yourself or another. when you love you don't judge but accept. when you love, you are giving back to God the greatest gift. when all is done in love - there is no sin.

to love and take care of each other, and to love god. I think some people focus so much on the other parts of the bible that they lose sight of what's important.

just my opinion =]
