How did God warn people for many years before the flood that they need to behave?
Did he cause famine, hardships, or did he actually come out and just shout it out?

He sent the nudist, drunkard Noah out there to warn them.
I wouldn't have believed him either.

Genesis 6:5-8

Noah was God's prophet and he was giving the warning to the people...same with Jonah who was a prophet sent to Nineveh, Jeremiah to Judah...so on.

Had to let them be surprised! After all there was no law to establish who was good or evil so any claims to that end would be LIES!!!
