God is the "Father of spirits", yours, mine, Jesus. Before there was an earth we lived with God. He proposed building an earth where his children could get a physical body. We have earthly parents, Jesus parents were Mary & God, that is why he is the only begotten in the flesh. God also told us we would be subject to death and sin which would separate us from him, but that a Saviour would be provided to redeem us from death and sin. This was Christ who was qualified to do it because he was sinless and could pay for our sins, and he could "lay down his life and take it up again" (because inheriting mortality from mother Mary and immortality from Father God. Without Jesus we would never be resurrected from Death and eternally separated from God.

Because God is the creator, we're all his naturally born children.

The Son of God, the 2nd person of the Holy Trinity, wasn't created. He is eternally of the same godly essence as his Father, hence, he is the only begotten of the Father.

When God sent his son to become man in order to save us, the 2nd person of the Holy Trinity became known to us as Jesus Christ, who is now also fully man, in addition to always having been truly God.

Jesus was sinless and perfect, yet he permitted Satan and his evil minions to toture and kill him, knowing full well that no one has the authority to take the life of a sinless man, let alone the only begotten Son of God.

In this way, Satan brought about the certain destruction of his very own kingdom, and in the process, all of mankind was redeemed by Jesus Christ.

We're all God's children spiritually.

Jesus is God's son spiritually and Physically - "the only begotten"

This made Jesus able to perform the atonement and Resurrection - something nobody else could or can ever do.

We were sort of 'adopted' by God i guess u would say. He took us in even though He didnt have to. Jesus is the Son of God, and a part of God, not a child of God like we are.

Jesus didnt sin while on earth, evn though he could have. Which made him the perfect sacrifice who died for our sins. Dakota Stumps is right! Jesus ROCKS!
