I think I came on too strong in a relationship with someone that I really cared about and was a little needy and immature because of my lack of experience in relationships. I think I scared him off a little and he is now at the point where he still loves me but he is really unsure about whether he wants to be with me or not now. What should I do now? I want to give it another try.

It may be too late.
You may try backing off and acting a little disinterested.
Get very busy and don't initiate any contact (do not call him or email him). Do more stuff with your friends.
If he comes back for you after that...then you have your second chance.
In the meantime, no need to be nasty. Just remain pleasant but a little aloof.

happened to me...i came on way to strong with guys i really liked and scared them all off ajjajaja...i think i became too clingy to my first ex which helped result in his leaving me-_-!!! just learn from this experience and try being a little more clingy to this guy u like, but when ever u r around him, treat him with respect and be urself and smile...don't suddenly become cold and standoffish

I think once you get to that point there is no coming back from it. He will always think of you that way. I'm assuming your young so you need to take this as a learning experience. You've lost the upper hand in this relationship and its usually very hard to get it back.

You can TRY explaining that to him, but chances are that opportunity is lost. Either way, LEARN from this experience and carry it forward with you so you don't make the same mistake with another potential partner in the future.
