My bestfriends dad is 15 years younger than his mom. They were together for about 14 years. Its possible that you may not because he is older and more mature and will want to settle down and have a family sooner than you. He will also have a career well before you do. Another conflict will be, you will still have too much living to do and want to be wild when he needs someone who is stable and knows what they want.

In my opinion, age should be one of the least important factors in deciding to enter into a relationship with someone. Consider that many other cultures in the world actually prize age in their society. Someone older is seen as more mature, more patient and less inclined to engage in selfish and inconsiderate activities.
Unfortunately we live in the US which treats age as a horrible disease. To be avoided at all costs.
If you intend to date him seriously, think ahead to several stock answers you will need for the questions and dissuasions that will surely come.
If you both can laugh at the same things and can sit and talk like regular people, if you do not allow other people's opinions to impact how you two feel about each other and if you can prove to him that your 18 years have given you the maturity to handle a 28 year old, then the age difference can be overcome.
Just be prepared for awkward silences in group settings when everybody starts asking how old everybody is.
Remember an 18 year old bozo is still an 18 year old bozo. It's far better to consider how he treats you and your family, how he keeps his word and how much you factor into his future.
Those are all mountains more important than his age.

personally, i disagree with these types of relationships because overtime, these types of relationships tend to turn out poorly...
i can't tell u if u and ur boyfriend will continue in a good direction, but i can tell u that i find it slightly odd...
are u in highschool?
has he gone to college?
obviously, there is something wrong with a man who would date a girl that young, but that doesn't mean that the relationship is bad
i'd say to just make sure that u keep in mind that u might end up finding a man in ur age range who u will like more or he will find a girl in his age group that he will like more...
it's just a generation and mental gap...
good luck i guess...

But things will work out if you want them to.....

it depends on the persons involved some times it does some times it doesn't my sister just married her love of her life and he is 10years older then her the age bracket doesn't affect them at all so if you truly love him then stick with it and you will be fine

As long as you both care about each other, age shouldnt matter. And as long as he doesn't hold his age over you for any reason.
