I am dating again, after years of being married, and it seems like I am more open to go further on the first date than I would have in the past. Just curious, (if you are over 18) what, if any, physical limitations do you set on the first date. And how set in stone are they?

Hmm...seems like I wrote that question a few years ago!! I would say that there are NO limits (depending on your age)..I used to ask this same question (I am 30 and divorced)..what I realized is that I was not worried about "what if" or "what is right"..but what will others think..the conclusion I came to is quite simple, if YOU are okay with your decision and YOU are comfortable, go for it, when or if you feel uneasy, be sure you can get out of the situation (unharmed)..another thing I tell friends (especially younger ones) is: Never sleep with a man you could not see yourself marrying OR having a child with....Good luck to you!

I'm 42. I have no 'set in stone' personal rules, but I do tend to avoid sex on the first date if it's someone I think I might like to really get to know better. Other than that I tend to go with the flow...

i usually won't go any further than holding hands. of course, any limitations are usually set by the cost of the "date".
