I didn't have dandruff before and now I am suddenly getting more! I want to stop it from gettting worse!?

It's flaky and I wash my hair pretty often! Any tips or products?

I don't think that Head and Shoulders works at all!! When I used it, it just made my dandruff worse! Selsun Blue smells, but it really works.

Dandruff can be caused by stress, overactive glands, washing your hair too much, washing your hair with products that contain alcohol.

Remember, too, that when you put gels and hair products on your head, they stick to the hair and flake off - causing them to LOOK like dandruff but true dandruff comes from the scalp - not the hair.

Try a dandruff shampoo recommended by your local pharmacist.

My sister has a slight dandruff problem and used neutrogena t-gel, which really gets rid of it quickly, also i you can mix it with regular shampoo and it will still smell good. Also this means your scalp is dry and that could be a result of scratching it too much, washing it too much, or it just came naturally.

you could be washing too much. allowing your nat. oils to be in your hair is great. washing too much will only over dry the hair. so it may not be dandruff, but, dry scalp. do a deep conditioning treatment, or hot oil. and rinse for aleast 5 min, as you run your fingers through your hair.
