I've had a few dates, but they were all duds.

I am wondering if anyone has had a significant relationship come out of meeting someone online.

My husband and I met on Match.com, his daughter and her husband met on Match.com, and my best friend and her husband met on Match.com. For me, I online dated for several years before I found the right one, or should I say, he found me. I had my share of duds and users, just don't give up, there are some great people out there!

Yes it can work. I am in the best relationship of my life with a person I met on line. Been almost 2 years now.

But like anything else, people lie, are crazy and are not serious. You just have to be careful. Its the same as meeting a person anywhere else. You dont know them, and just because you actually see them face to face does not mean they are not crazy or not lying to you.

In fact, on line you get to talk a lot first. Get a chance to feel the person out. Check for any inconsistencies. And then you have the choice to meet them or not. You can easily block them from your messenger or what ever if you decide they creep you out. Kinda hard to do that if you were sitting there on a date. You get my point.

Of course it could work, like any other chance or relationship you take in life.

I met my wife on Match.com. I liked that we were able to pick the criteria in a mate we were looking for. We both had a child from previous marriages and were both looking for someone with a child so we could gauge what type of parent they were. We were both looking for someone who didn't drink or smoke too, so it was very easy to weed people out. We just had our first baby together 5 months ago. My wife is the love of my live and I feel like the luckiest guy in the world to have found her. She is an excellent mother to my son who we have full-time and you would never know that my step-daughter and son weren't real siblings. My sister-in-law also found her true love over the internet too. I don't understand why people think you've less likely to be lied to in person than over the net. Just make sure you get a good picture of them and like them for who they are.

Yes and no. I've had 3 serious long term relationships with guys I met online. It's easier to meet the people you want because you get to be picky about certain things and they don't have to find out. Try different sites.

I know of people who have, but I dont believe in it because you get to know the person before you are attracted to them...then you might fall in love with someone online a lot and when you meet her she isnt what you really want in a woman,,so you end up in a relationship but cant stop looking at woman you really wanted, and you cheat in the end.....just my 2cs

I total heartedly comply with this. i imagine in an information superhighway international we've a tendency to truly categorize human beings depending upon various of diverse kinds. diverse web content cater to kinds of daters. it really is no longer one of those undesirable ingredient although. In life you locate hassle-free techniques to relax what you extremely pick in someone while on line you are able to extremely be picky and in case you get fortunate then you definitely extremely have a good better 0.5 you pick to keep. i imagine it extremely works more effective useful for severe daters yet perchance it really is basically me. In human being you in consumer-friendly words tend to be take what you get and it feels more effective like settling to me. some might want to disagree and say let destiny take over yet each so often it basically doesn't workout consultation the way you pick it to lol
