The bride is a symbol for "his church"
those who are saved.
You just need to know what the symbols mean in the Bible, because there are MANY. Just like Jesus is the lamb of God that was slain....but Jesus is not an actual lamb now is he? He was a man who died and shed His blood, but in the OT they use to offer lambs and goats as sacrifices....so that is why He is the Lamb of God.

No, it is just an analogy. We are the bride. We are to remain spiritually pure until He comes to take us home. You will not be gay but are referred to as the bride because that is how much He loves all of us.

Its symbolic... meaning Christ and the church are one. Christ is Lord over the church as a husband is lord over his wife according to the bible.
