I'm sorry if this sounds gross but this is a serious question. The inside of my nose feels really irritated. I'm trying hard to ignore it but it's driving me nuts. What can I do to make it stop? It's dry, so nothing is accomplished when I blow my nose.

Try going to the pharmacy and talking to the pharmacist. Pharmacists are extremely knowledgeable and you would be surpised at how helpful they can be.

I had a problem with nose irritation and it was SO uncomfortable. I got some nasal spray (just the saline - nothing with a bunch of weird "stuff" in it) and I used that twice a day. You CAN over-do it with that stuff and that is not supposed to be good, either.

Have you had an exam by a doctor? If you are really that irritated, there might be something else going on that needs attention.

Best of luck. I'm sure you will be just fine. Try the pharmacist and the nasal spray. Just the saline kind.

I had the same problem. Only I had a cold. So I used nose spray. It helped a lot. I was feeling better the next day. If it's not a cold then see a doctor. Hope I was helpful.

if it feels dry and there is some dryness in your throat as well, i have that sometimes when I lie down. Drink water. It may be that there isnot enough moisture in the air or that the moisture from your nose (phlem snot saliva etc) is not gettin going down. If it is congested try nasal sparay. if this doesnt help ask a doctor.

Spray some saline solution up there. It will help keep it moist.
