Because the Kenites give true Judah a bad name.
Revelation 2:9 "I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, [but thou art rich] and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan."

Because anti-Semitism that isn't against Jews isn't anti-semitism.
Your redundant phrase is a redundant one. Anti-semitism is the hatred of descendants of Shem (Jews and Arabs). By default, the only hatred against Jews is Anti-Semitic....
But with the humor in your redundantly repetitious question aside, the answer is that some Christians believe that when Pontius Pilate asked the Jewish crowd if they would take responsibility that the crowd was speaking for the whole of the Jewish nation, forever and ever. This interpretation is the justification for Christian anti-semitism; that the Jews accepted responsibility for the death of Christ. Of course, if you're going to argue like that, let's blame God for letting Jesus die, too.
The only problem with this is that Jesus is Jewish. So Christian anti-semitism is idiotically ignorant (you're hating a race that included the founder of your religion).

There is a lot of stigmatism associated with the Jewish people, and the main "reasons" behind it are the following myths: people believe that the jews killed jesus - as it was the sanhedrin(a council of judges) who demanded Jesus be crucified, the common misconception that jews have more money than everyone else, and the ideas of a "zionist conspiracy" in politics (a belief held by none other than Adolf Hitler), in that Jews are somehow running the world.
All are completely false of course, but then again, some people will believe anything.

In groups and out groups. People are naturally suspicious (and sometimes jealous) of other cultures.
For most of the past 1900 years, following the Roman destruction of Jerulsalem in 70 CE, the Jews have been dispersed over much of Europe and the Middle East, but have been a minority group in all the lands they settled.
Despite their minority status, they've managed to survive as a cultural unit through their religious adherence and have largely avoided exogamy (marrying out). Very few cultural groups have survived dispersal intact over such a long period.
This is despite the antisemitism of Christianity prevalent in most of Europe during this time - ironic, since Jesus was a Jew, as were all the Bible writers (with the possible exception of Luke), and Christianity began as a sect within Judaism. Muslim antisemitism is a largely recent phenomenon, with its roots in the Israel-Palestine conflict.

I am a Jew and I always heard all Jews are selfish and cheap.I am not cheap and no one in my family is. Then I heard all Jews were communist. When my dad got old he walked around saying God bless America, He was a veteran and so am I. When I worked in the steel mill someone asked me why I worked in the mill because all Jews are rich. I had three kids to feed and I am far from rich. So don't know why people hate me for being a Jew but I know they do and I feel must always protect myself

The only reason i found this question is because you contacted me saying you noticed I was Jewish and you asked a question about Judaism and wanted to learn more. I'm sorry to say I am not contacting anyone. If you would like to email me please do at stingking13@yahoo.com with a subject saying "Yahoo Answers- Jewish Question" so i know I'm not opening spam. Now on to your question.
I am a Jew. I go to a Jewish school and we are studying the book of Judges. This takes place after the book of Joshua so they have defeated about 5 groups of people living in Canaan (Israel at the time) God said that they were to defeat every nation, keep that in mind for later. So the book of judges is about a cycle that the Jewish people go through for about 300 years. The cycle is- 1the Jews commit a sin in gods eyes. 2God sends evil upon them. 3 the Jews pray for help from god. 4 god sends a person who leads them to defeat the evil. 5 the Jews are good in gods eyes.
Now why did i waste my time typing all of that? because i think the Jewish nation is in step 1 of that cycle. Think about it, NOBODY goes a day without making a minor sin. So god sends evil upon the Jews. Adolf Hitler, Ha mas, Iran, and more. What is next? The only way that we, the Jews, can get over these evils is to plead for mercy from god. ((another of my great opinions))
Now back to God saying we must defeat every group of people in Canaan. Before the Jews could defeat all the groups, Joshua dies. So, they do not. One of the groups they dont kill off are the ancestors of todays Arabs. In sense, the Jews created their own enemy. If the Jews were not running around being naughty, and they killed off that group, think of how easy Jews would have it today?
Now....the inquisition. THe christians killed the jews (and others) because they werent christian. If they kill jews...shouldnt they be killing themselves to? Arent they a branch off of a jewish tree?

It is not a "Christian country which says Israel should be wiped off of the face of the map BTW.
Also certain prophecies tell of the anamosity against the Jews.
Satan also knows that God has many dealings with Israel in the last days which brings his end and he is out to destroy them.
He has lost already. His future has been written:
Revelation 20:10:
10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever

You heard the story about the scapegoat in the bible? People always want others to blame for their own misfortune, many of the most virelent anti-semites have never even met a Jew.

Many people need a scapegoat. It's easier to make up short comings for other groups of people than to look at their own. It's sad and ignorant isn't it?
You should study their faith a bit. I chose to. I often thought it would be cold and legalistic, but it isn't. I've been searching for a Jewish pen pal (email). We have so much in common. We should be living life together. I'm finding out that the Muslim faith isn't all that different either. Jesus said love your neighbor. A good first step is getting to know them.

I take it you're not aiming your question towards Christians? Jews are God's chosen people, and they always have been. I don't know any true Christians who would disagree with this or who would feel in anyway anti-semitic.
God Bless!

The Jews are originally God's chosen people.
satan wants to destroy what is God's.
People will hate others for loving God.
I wont put them down- but usually things people cannot understand and jealousy leads to hate.
You're either for God- or completly against Him, there is no luke warm- only hot or cold.
They will always go through trial but they will ALWAYS overcome.
