God doesn't need miralces to speak to us.
He speaks in a gentle whisper -
1 Kings 19:11-13a
Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.
God speaks in a whisper, subtly. When you aren't paying attention, He's trying to speak to you. He speaks through people, through the Bible, through circumstances (such as you pray about which college to go to and you apply for 5 colleges and you dont make it into 4 of them), God doesn't have to use miracles now.
There still are miracles though, not as big as in the old testament but equally large- physical healing, spiritual healing...

He got a gig in Vegas, doing 2 shows a night and 3 on saturday. Parts the waters, then turns it to wine, does the staff-becomes-snake trick, has it rain frogs on the audience, turns his assistant to a pillar of salt, makes a burning bush talk. It really wows 'em.
Penn & Teller threatened to give away his secrets but the locusts in their dressing room scared them off.
Pat Robertson seems to think he has been doing tsunamis and hurricanes on the side but I don't know where he would find the time.

The Bible was not yet completed, so God performed miracles to reveal reveal Himself to people. However, God has given us His completed Bible, which tells us so much more about God than all of the miracles He did four thousands of years before its completion.
Stop waiting for a sign. Read the Bible. Stop looking for miracles. The greatest miracle has already been given through God's Son, Jesus Christ.

I'm not sure what your definition of miracle is. But He still heals, x-rays to prove it, parts growing back from one day to the next, give prophetic words that have and do come true, ability to cast out demons, I've seen them flee, provides in time of need, words of knowledge, words of wisdom. What is it that you call a miracle?

How do you know for sure? What about all the saints and such? Also, the beast has been loosed on the earth and he is currently ruling the "end of the Age-Age of Aquarius", read end of Revelations, it gives you the background. Plus most of the time, its the bad stuff you hear about, not the good.........food for thought...:)

The LDS believe in a living prophet. So, to them, God still speaks.

Two thousand years ago people would have thought David Blaine or Chriss Angel was god.
