There have actually been several tests on evolution... including lab tests with flies.
The most interesting natural 'experiment', at least to me occurred naturally in England.
A species of moth was white prior to the industrial revolution. The color was natural camouflage, matching the color of the trees they lived on. During the industrial revolution, a tremendous amount of pollution entered the air (interestingly this also caused the famous London fogs... fog is now rarer in London). The pollution darkened the trees - the moths changed to near black...
After the Industrial Revolution, with the reduction of coal dust and soot in the air, the trees turned white again... and so did the moths.
An incredible, well documented example of environmental adaptation - evolution.

6 months? hmmmm perhaps not!
But is there a chance Castro could green light some experiments to be done on people from the USA. They are in desperate need of EVOLVING. Primarily BRAINS!
A baboon brain transplant into the head of say....a typical American Christian Fundamentalist Bush voter?. I'l happily make donations...it's for the benefit of all of us!

You see, I used to argue this point untill I put a picture of Presidant Bush next to a chimpanzee,
And the resemblance is uncanny.
There's somethingto the whole monkey thing.

It's also been observed in fruit flies in laboratories which show minute adaptations over several generations so when creationists state point blank that evolution doesn't occur they're lying.

Evolution is unproven voodoo science, still just a theory, which means a guess.
Life can't evolve from non-life, so that very first life form had nothing to evolve from, therefore it HAD to be created. And the Creator was God.

Sorry, that's not evolution. Heck, that's not even good Lamarckianism, and I'm a neo-Lamarckian.
Individuals don't evolve.

No. I did not know this. But when you site a scientific informatin like this shouldn't you post a resource?
Also, just because evolution occurs does not mean you need to "say no to Jesus." It is the 21st century you know? Not the 19th century.

I had read an article on something similar.
I think it was on some sort of animal with a shell, the shells had gotten thicker in a new environment over years.
Anyway, thanks for sharing.
