Tampons aren't very sanitary. They can create Staphylococcus aureus which I guess, in itself, could be called an 'evil' bacteria. I think it makes more sense to fight Staph infections rather than tampons though.

I tell you what, if you start a movement to ban advertisements for feminine hygiene and "male enhancement" products on television and issue a fatwa against Smiling Bob, I'll support that.

No offense, but you have got to be kidding. It is a woman's choice as to what method(s) she employs to control her monthly bleeding, not any one else's. Would you like it if someone successfully banned your favorite maxi-pads for the same reason ?
