sit and talk with him about it and ask him why he doesn't want a child with you. tell him how you feel. tell him that even though he has a son that that son is not both of yours and that you don't have a child and this is what you have always wanted with being married and that you want one with him so you can call it your own. and if he still says no then you will have to make that decision if you still want to be with him. but i believe that if he truely cares for you enough to marry you that he will give in. Good luck

You can't convince him. If you beg or convince him, he'll end up resenting you and or the baby. All you can do is let him know your feeling on it.
You really should have talked about it before marriage. That and handling finances can be deal breakers.

tell him that you want a baby to watch grow and cherish to give you biological continuance and in many years that you may have grandchildren to spoil but let him know how important it is to you and why you want it soo bad and figure out why he doesnt one child is great but if he is going to hold up the one and only child card maybe you should think about finding a new card to play.

WOW definatley should have talked about that b4 you got married, but you can't force him, it takes two to tango so let him know how much it means to you and till then treat your step son as your own and maybe he'll see what a great mom you could be!

Sorry, you can't "convince" him. Creating a child requires two willing participants. You can only hope he'll change his mind later. This is why people discuss this topic before they get married.

These things should be known before marriage. Maybe he will change his mind in the future..who knows. If he does not, accept it or move on.

How did you guys not talk about this before you got married?
Tell him how important it is to you. If he still won't, then decide which is more important - having a kid, or being with him.

Try to tell him that you want more than one child and then the family will earn more money. Then he might listen. If he doesn't, then try adopting.
Good luck!

I know this may sound disheartening, but it may be too late to change his feelings.
This is something that should have been discussed before you got engaged and then married.
Good Luck!!!
