What does it remind you of?

As a comfort food puddings might signify a comforting experience; comfort that you could be craving.

If it reminds you of bad school dinners, you might be thinking about an oppressive authority figure who's stealing your fun.

Does that help?

A friend of mine used to tell me about a woman at her church who kept having dreams about peanut butter sandwiches. For years, she'd have recurring dreams about them, but she wasn't fond a peanut butter, or PB sandwiches. Somehow or another she wound up making a whole mess of PB sams to give to the homeless one day, and that act rolled into her doing it daily, and turning it into a non-profit organization to feed the homeless. Eventually they moved off of PB, and the menu expanded, but it started off with a woman and her recurring dream about peanut butter sandwiches.

Perhaps you're supposed to be making apple crumbles and custards for charity.

You live abroad? Have you tried dreaming about bread and butter pudding, or syrup sponge? Makes a nice alternative.

or maybe kill your mother and sleep with your father...

or maybe kill your mother and your father, and sleep with both of them.

Then again, you might just have the midnight munchies
