Gerry had at last been offered a job as a barman in one of the most exclusive establishments in San Diego He was to attend an interview with the manager at noon. He set off from Los Angeles at 9 A .M. in ample time for the 124 mile trip, as he had decided to travel by car. which should not take more than two hours on Highway as 101. Although there was no breakdown, no accident, and traffic was light, he arrived three hours late tor his appointment and lost the job. Why did it take him five hours to travel from L.A. to San Diego?

Cause the 101 doesn't go down that far...... You have to take the 5 or 15 or the 215 the 101 goes north

if it took him five hours he would've gotten there at two not three. but to answer the riddle, the manager wasn't in san diego??
