I just booked a June 3 day cruise to the Bahamas less than a week ago. I had been on two prior cruises as a "girl trip". My husband and children love our yearly beach vacation, but my 9yr. old daughter really wants to try a cruise. I thought 3 day would be best for the family. I checked prices on the Carnival website, but called the Carnival agent that had helped me on the two prior cruises. She quoted me prices cheaper than the website. It was also a better room. I would sugget calling the cruise line to check prices. Free upgrades are possible too. Last year on my girl's cruise, we were upgraded from ocean view to suites with private balconies. Our cruise agent was wonderful.

As far as passports go, the government changed the date that all passengers must have passports from Jan 07 to Jan 08. I think if you are flying to the Bahamas, Caribbean, etc. that you have to have a passport. Carnival cruiselines does not require it for a Bahamas cruise during 2007. I specifically checked. Thank goodness.....

June is one of the more pricier months to take a cruise, Carnival seems to be one of the least expensive be sure to compare rates.
I would check with a travel agent and with the cruise company it self to see who has the best deal. Always pay your gratuities up front, it will save you time at the end. Also Orlando's port is easier to board and disboard than Miami's port.

Also do you have a Passport, I think you need one to go on a cruise nowadays.

i might stay faraway from the bahamas from previous due june by using the beginning up of november. its hurricane season and that i've got heard that there could properly be a great form of rain in the time of those months. in case you desire to pass someplace beautiful and not in any respect could desire to concern with regards to the climate, attempt aruba. its under the hurricane belt and the climate is a assure !! i replaced into there with my pals some years back in march and the climate replaced into beautiful. while you're set on the bahamas, go in april or could. the fees are good then too. feb and march gets high priced reason its spring destroy.
