Why do men in relationships go to dating websites?

I discovered my significant other on sex and dating websites. Despite the fact that he claims that cheating is wrong and he would never do so, why does he go to dating sites behind my back? I am considering breaking up with him. I do not trust this at all. So could someone clarify why commited men do this. What is their intention? It seems like all the men I date do this.

IT'S PROBABLY BECAUSE HE DOESN'T THINK YOU WILL FIND OUT ABOUT IT AND HE WON'T GET CAUGHT. IT'S THE WHOLE, YOU'VE GOT SOMETHING GOOD BUT I WANT SOMETHING BETTER AND I'LL KEEP WHAT I HAVE UNTIL I GET IT (NOT SAYING THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH YOU).... I SURE WOUDLN'T TRUST HIM EITHER, AND I WOUDLN'T BE STAYING WITH HIM. HE SAYS CHEATING IS WRONG, BUT LOOKING AT AND TALKING TO OTHER WOMEN ON THE INTERNET COULD JUST AS WELL BE CHEATING. I TAKE IT AS HE IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE ELSE. I'D SAY HE'S NOT VERY COMMITTED TO YOU....

It can be a sign of cheating, it can be a sign of fasination, or it could be a porn addiction (many of these dating sites might as well be porn). Also, anyone in a relationship , including poeple that cheat, will claim that cheating is wrong. Can you imagine if a husband (whether he cheats or not) told his wife there is nothing wrong with cheating? What would be the first thing she would assume? Obviously that he cheats.

Regarding your signifcant other, don't assume he's cheating without more proof than those websites. I may be in the minority here, but visiting those websites deserve snooping in more detail to see if anything is really going on.

Its nice, even though you may have a significant other to know whether or not you still got "it". men are more insecure than what it may seem and if you neglect to tell him the things about him to keep him secure in himself then he may seek that security in another woman. It could be harmless, he could just want his ego stroked. Step your game up ms. get xtra sexy for a couple nights..do all the things you know he likes. In other words...stroke his ego. If he responds and the visits to the site stop then you know what it was. If it continues and he seems aggravated by your need for attention then kick Willy Wacker to the curb.

That really is a problem, but it is true, committed men doing so will never be able to keep the commitment. Sometime or another they will cheat on you if this is their way of life.

it's his way of sticking his foot out there a bit and testing the waters without actually going through or committing to anything. problem is if he does it enough with the same person it already has turned into a real relationship, and he's already cheating. you may want to think about moving on ...

maybe he want to see new thing in his life.. just see what he need that he feel that he can't find it in you, u must to be aware and be near him when he doing chat with girls. so u can control that in easy way when u want, u can make something in the Internet that never enter to those site and he got crazy then will discover that the only one is u and just u.

do u mean you CAUGHT him on one, or you were online and found him? if so, it is possible that his page was from before he was with you...either that or his friends made it as a joke...but if you're sure he's active in it, then dump his butt.
