I remember reading a post here mentioning Canadian news events/TV shows from decades ago, like Definition the game show.....can you mention any others, to which Canadians 30-70 years old would say "Ahhh yes I remember that!"

ah yes - Definition.. the theme of which was ripped by Mike Myers for Austin Powers (not to mention the Dream Warriors in the early 90's hiphop "My Defininition).. and of course The Beachcombers and Mr Dressup as previously mentioned..

I grew up watching The Friendly Giant and Chez Helene like everyone else. I remember watching Hockey Night in Canada Sat. nights, Tommy Hunter, Juliette, later my fave was Wayne and Shuster. I was on "Reach For The Top" in high school, anyone else?
