Hey guys, My skin is really nice, and pretty oil/acne free ( minus the occasional breakout!) But I have a problem with blackheads, on my nose and chin, basically my T area..I've tried a few different things, but just cant seem to get rid of them. There not that noticable, but to ME they are!
Does anyone know of any "quick" ways to rid my face of these suckers? I would prefer quick "home remedies" that I could do like..right now. But store bought stuff is Ok too.
Thanks so much in advance :)

Sometimes skin care products can compound the problem. If they are harsh or drying to the skin, it will cause the pores to produce even more oil.
The old "standby" is an oatmeal facial. Some people mix some honey in it, which is nourishing to the skin. Mix enough hot water with 2 minute oatmeal to make a paste. Smooth on the skin and leave until dry. Then use a dry washcloth to rub the skin. This will remove a lot of the blackheads. Then rinse the remaining residue from the skin.
Aloe vera gel with a couple of drops of tea tree oil added helps get rid of blackheads.
Also, just by making sure your body gets enough water daily. this alone will clear up your skin with whatever problems you may have. people should drink ten 8ounce glasses of water a day.
hopefully i have helped you in any way! =]

I have the EXACT same problem! It sucks but I have found that getting facials a few times a year to be really helpful. Also, at the facials, they will extract the blackheads for you, which is really nice! Anyways, the only way I have found to get rid of blackheads is by squeezing them out myself. It's really gross but if you don't get them out, there is no other way to rid your face of them. I have a metal tool that I use to extract them myself at home. I bought it from CVS in the section with tweezers and nail stuff. It is just a tool with 2 loops on each end. Hope this helps!!

Hey, first of all I also HATE blackheads. Having great skin is perfect but blackheads look really bad right . I have the same kind of problem. Okay, just for the record these are things NOT to do. DO NOT EVER, try to squeeze blackheads out. I mean, ew it sounds nasty right there. That hurts and damages your skin. Another thing, the strip-thingie for your nose, those don't work either. So I was shopping around and I saw a little Blackhead product. Its "Clearasil Blackhead Control Treatment Gel with natural sea salt". I've tried EVERYTHING. Let me tell you, this really works and you won't be throwing away cash. Try it. You will be glad blackheads are gone!!

PLUS NEVER USE BIORE STRIPS. the extreme ones don't even work.

Treatment of Blackheads aswell as Whiteheads

Mix 1-teaspoon honey with 1/2 teaspoon rice powder and rub all over the face, especially on the chin and nose. This helps in removing blackheads aswell as whiteheads.

To get rid of blackheads, cover the area with a mixture of green gramflour, curd and tumeric powder. Leave it for 10 minutes. Scrub off, using cold water.

In thick bottomed pan, heat a mixture of egg white and lemon juice till it becomes thick. Cool, smear this mixture over the face to get rid of blackheads permanently.

I HATE blackheads with a passion.
The first thing to do is to wet a washcloth with hot water, not warm, but not hot enough to burn yourself.
Place the washcloth over your nose or wherever you have the blackheads. Lit it stay there for a few minutes. This opens your pores. After it's done, squeeze those babies out. It hurts but it's worth it. It's easier to squeeze them on the tip of your nose and your chin, but I've never had to do it with my forehead....
Anyways...good luck!
xx

Sad to say that you cannot just "get rid" of them. They are clogged pores that have been subject to oxygen that turns them black. The only thing to do is have them removed with either store bought things "Biore pore strips" or have them removed professionally. Talk to a local dermatologist to get price estimates and more "professional" home remedies

try getting a wash cloth as hot as you ca stand and put over the area for like 3 min. now that the pores are nice a open use a exfoliate wash off with cold water so your pores close back up good luck

Try a facial peel (store bought) after you use a gentle facial scrub--then always use a astringent directly after to close the pores
